CD Ladder Strategy
The IBN Asset Management CD Ladder Strategy provides safety through FDIC Insurance across your whole portfolio.
By incorporating securities in denominations of $250,000 or less per issuer IBNAM is able to retain FDIC insurance for the entire portfolio, while also providing diversification and mitigated issuer risk, all while providing a superior yield to other securities available in a turbulent market.
Utilizing Certificates of Deposit from a variety of FDIC insured banks will provide adequate liquidity, safety of principle, and a higher return than available with alternate investments.
Security
FDIC insurance is widely accepted as one of the most secure forms of insurance in the market today. Investment policies and bond covenants consistently recognize FDIC as a viable option for securing all types of funds.
Customization
All parameters of the investment strategy can be customized to suit a variety of needs. Activity level, investment allocation, overall portfolio duration and more are fluid t o move as needed.
Passive vs. Active Management
IBNAM offers this strategy in only an active management style.
Passive strategies are initially setup and portfolio makeup will remain relatively unchanged unless directed by the client for the duration of the contract. This management style is typically better suited for accounts that require less oversight and see less activity. Active management is just that, account managers will actively monitor the account for potential improvements and will act on those opportunities to increase portfolio return, provide additional degrees of safety, and mitigate potential risks. Fees are typically higher than passive strategies, but come with a great deal of benefits. Due to the nature of this strategy, only an active management style is offered.
